It Could Be Your Lights

I'd planned to go out to dinner for my 46th birthday. Instead, I spent the day in bed, knocked out by a "killer" migraine. As it turned out, dinner was the first meal I ate that day, and it wasn't in a restaurant.
I pretty much never get sick. Although I'd been a migraine sufferer for over 30 years, with symptoms including an "aura" of flashing lights and sensation of things that weren't there, such as an "electrical" smell, I'd never--until now--experienced full-blown nausea.
Later, looking back, I was able to trace the sequence of events that led to this awful moment.
